Dgipro and Celoxica sign pact |
 |
 |
Deccan Herald, June 28 |

Dgipro Design Automation
Ltd., a leading supplier of electronic design automation tools in Bangalore has entered
into a marketing and distribution alliance with UK-based Celoxica to distribute to
latters products in the Country, an official release said.
Dgipro will market the DK1 design software range of products developed by Celoxica.
This product provides a new approach to the design of electronic hardware components of
leading high technology products like- programmable gate array and system-on-chip designs.
Engineers can use Handle-C, a high level language available in DK1 to write complex
algorithms targeted for migration to hardware. This language is based on Ansi C which
provides a tool to migrate C-like language code from C to hardware. Hence, hardware design
is not limited to HDL experts, but accessible to application specialists like system
architects and software engineers.
"The main object of the DK1 suite is to reduce time to produce new applications in
hardware.
This product will open the silicon design industry by leveraging available software
programming skills and targeting of-the-shelf silicon enabling companies to innovate new
hardware designs," Suresh Potluri, Director South Asia Pacific, Celoxica said.
Celoxica provides software products, development boards, IP cores and design services that
enable software engineers to rapidly design application logic for FPGAs and
programmable logic devices. The suite of products from Celoxica are compatible with IBM PC
and all versions of Microsoft Windows NT.
DK1 will provide design tools like a compiler, a simulator and a debugger to design,
validate, refine and implement designs based on the Handle-C language. Developers using
DK1 can take advantage of prototyping boards from Celoxica. |
